Why support EWB-SCFL?
EWB is a non-profit, member-driven organization working to improve the standard of living in small communities often overlooked by larger aid organizations. Our Chapter members donate their time and expertise to assessing, designing, and implementing engineering solutions and work directly with members of the host community and local non-governmental organizations. This approach ensures buy-in and ownership of the completed project by the host community, as well as a low project cost.
Your contribution will allow us to support our existing projects, expand the number of projects we can accept and continue to provide new service and educational opportunities to our communities and our growing membership.
Firms and corporations that support EWB reinforce a company’s beliefs about corporate social responsibility in a manner that is directly in line with the company’s own work. This commitment to improving conditions in other countries has proven important to company clients as well as employees, and can have a direct benefit in terms of how people view the company and their corporate partners.
